“One of the reasons we have the computers set up this way is because we live in such a remote geographical area that we like to be open to the public,” Astrid Oliver, the library director, said.

Our Fort Lewis College radio station, KDUR, has recently accepted and integrated new DJs. Students are always encouraged to apply and to submit their applications for their own radio show.

“Not many people know this, but anyone can be a DJ at KDUR,” said Chris Braun, a FLC senior and the music director at KDUR.

Christine Groh, a senior playing for the Fort Lewis College Women’s Basketball team, was selected as Skyhawk’s Student Athlete of the week after putting on a tremendous performance against Colorado Christian University on Jan. 24 and the Colorado School of Mines on Jan. 25.
