The number one-seeded Fort Lewis College Skyhawks defeated the number four-seeded Adams State University Grizzlies by a score of 87-74 on Friday night in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference men’s basketball tournament semifinals to advance to the championship game against the Regis University Rangers tonight at 7:05 p.m.

The Fort Lewis College women’s softball team suffered two big defeats at the hands of the Colorado School of the Mines Orediggers in their first home Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference matches of the season. On senior night, the Fort Lewis College men’s basketball team beat Westminster College (Utah) 75-67 to clinch the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s regular season championship for the second time in the last three years and the sixth time in program history.

Last night, the Fort Lewis College women’s basketball team fell in a crushing defeat against the Westminster College Griffins, 64-58. The loss locked the Skyhawks into a sixth place finish in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and in the upcoming RMAC tournament.
