RSO grants and budgets were settled by the ASFLC at its meeting Wednesday.

RSO IIs and IIIs finances were discussed by the senate with the move to increasing their budgets from $100,000 to $125,000 by increasing the student fees by $1.10, Connor Cafferty, student body president, said. This student fee increase is speculative until the Institutional Fee Review Board can review and approve it.

Fort Lewis College experienced a seat deficit in fall 2016. Classrooms did not have enough space to accommodate everyone despite a decrease in overall enrollment, but adjustments are being made.

RSO budgets were finalized by the ASFLC Wednesday at their meeting.  

Recently there was a proposal for mention of “liberal arts” to be omitted from Fort Lewis College’s mission statement in a meeting conducted by The Associated Students of Fort Lewis College.

Durango’s Farmers Market provides an opportunity for Fort Lewis College students to ease into Saturday morning. Supplying a unique environment with live music, shopping, and socialization opportunities with locals.

Despite reduced occupancy numbers this semester some students at Fort Lewis College are finding themselves living in triple rooms.

The Durango Farmers Market not only provides a way for nearby farmers to sell their produce and products, but lets other local businesses showcase what they have to offer. Booths for other items and services other than farm raised food are prevalent.  The Farmers Market runs from 9am- noon until October 29th in the First National Bank parking lot.
