The Associated Students of Fort Lewis College met on March 14. Members discussed funding for Academic Registered Student Organizations at varying RSO levels. It discussed the public forum that will be held for the three presidential candidates for Fort Lewis College and the contract with the Durango Transit Center further. ASFLC also passed two resolutions.

FLC Loses Second Straight RMAC Championship

The number two-seeded Regis University Rangers (26-5) defeated the number one-seeded Fort Lewis College Skyhawks (24-6) by a score of 88-80 on Saturday night, March 3, in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament championship game at Whalen Gymnasium.

The number one-seeded Fort Lewis College Skyhawks defeated the number four-seeded Adams State University Grizzlies by a score of 87-74 on Friday night in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference men’s basketball tournament semifinals to advance to the championship game against the Regis University Rangers tonight at 7:05 p.m.

The mayor, the city and county managers, the president and vice president of FLC and other representatives of the city, county and college meet regularly to discuss what is happening in each department that could affect the others, Mayor Dick White said.
