The Skyhawks men’s basketball team increased their home game winning streak to 30 over the weekend by defeating Western State (5-18) and Colorado Mesa (7-18).

The weekend started out right for the Lady Skyhawks shutting out Western State (6-17) in the second quarter on their way to a 67-36 victory Friday night.  On Saturday they beat Colorado Mesa (17-6) 77-50.

On Tuesday the Real Food Challenge at Fort Lewis College will announce the winner of the February Vote Real poll. Students have the option to choose between apples, carrots or zucchini as the next item that Sodexo will serve in its organic form.

The Mountaineers won Friday night’s game 8-5 and the Skyhawks won Saturday’s game with a 7-6 comeback win that went into overtime.
