Fort Lewis College’s Quality Initiative, the final component in the Higher Learning Commission’s accreditation, will be a degree tracking system to help students finish school in four years.

Fort Lewis College provides students with the opportunity to get involved in an arrangement of club sports including cycling, women’s golf, ice hockey, men and women’s soccer, lacrosse, rugby, tennis as well as the ski and snowboard team.

After playing in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference tournament, Fort Lewis College’s Women’s soccer team is ranked 24th in the country and will go on to compete in the Division II NCAA championships.

Lindsay Nyquist, the FLC social media coordinator and web developer, said she found out about the page the day it launched. It is her job to monitor for mentions of “Fort Lewis College” and “FLC” in the news.
“It’s not something we were looking forward to,” Nyquist said. “But we knew it was coming.”
