The Independent Positions Available

The Independent, Fort Lewis College’s student news source encompassing print, web, and video production, is accepting applications for editor-in-chief for the 2017 spring semester. Job duties include creating and executing the semester’s production schedule; working with the practicum director and content advisor to ensure The Independent maintains high standards of journalistic quality and integrity; actively leading and mentoring fellow student journalists; and overseeing basic managerial and clerical duties, among other responsibilities. Applicants must be current FLC students and must have previously taken both ENGL 250 and ENGL 350.
