On Jan. 23 to Feb. 1, Durango held its annual Snowdown event, which features different events throughout the day and night. Snowdown holds a different theme every year it is held.

This year's theme was 'Then and Wow!' which centered around Durango History while celebrating Colorado's 150th year of statehood.

To end the Snowdown festivities, a parade is held downtown featuring floats and vehicles decorated by local businesses and entities. Next year's theme will be 'Chillin' With My Villains', which is planned for Jan. 29 to Feb. 7.
